What’s Your Trash Worth

It’s not something I’ve ever done on my podcast before, but today’s a special day. I’m going to talk some trash. I’m talking trash because, more than ever, it’s an important discussion to have. The reason why it’s so important is because the cost of groceries is astronomical. Food costs are so high it’s decimating people’s budgets, mine included. The idea for this show came to me when I saw one of my sons getting ready to throw an untouched, perfectly cooked sausage patty in the trash instead of putting it in the refrigerator to eat later. Which caused me to say, “What in the world are you doing?” I wasn’t offended he was going to throw out the amazing breakfast I cooked him. It was about how expensive sausage is now and wasting food. In this episode, I’m going to go over getting control of wastefulness in your household and simple steps you can take to reduce the amount of money you spend on groceries to keep your food spending from climbing more than it already has. We’re also going to have a heart-to-heart about leftovers.
