About MILMO

MILMO is a home of military money and entrepreneurship. It’s a place for the military community to
learn ways to make, save, and invest more money to be financially free.

We’re different from other financial experts and entrepreneurs, not weird, we’re unique. Not only are we financial and business experts, but we intimately know the challenges of military service and how those challenges impact every aspect of our lives, from money to family to careers. We know because we live it.

We understand it’s difficult to navigate your finances around military life. You never know what’s around the corner, it could be a PCS, deployment, or promotion. We know that military spouse un and under-employment and military transition have led many military spouses and veterans to entrepreneurship to make money.

Here’s how we help.

  • Make money and entrepreneurship lessons uncomplicated and approachable.
  • Motivate you to get control of your money.
  • Give you the knowledge and resources so you gain confidence in your financial decisions.
  • Provide practical and actionable information to help you cope with and solve real-life challenges.
  • Meet you where you are to give help without judgment.
  • Inspire you to reach your goals and beyond.

Meet Lacey

The military community is not just who she serves, it’s her family. Lacey’s an Accredited Financial Counselor® with over 15 years of financial planning, counseling, and coaching experience who changes people’s lives from being fearful of money to having control and confidence with it. What to Expect

If you’re like us, you may want to know a little more about who you’re working with before you’re willing
to hitch your wagon to them. Because as much as we’d love to be admired by all, we know we won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Shocking… I know. Sometimes, the way we operate may not be a good fit for you or your organization. Before we work together, here are some things you might want to know about us.

Military is Family

The military community is our family. We love our community and protect it fiercely. There are enough people in the world trying to prey on those who serve, so if that’s your intention, we aren’t a good fit. We’re all trying to make a living, but we prefer to be open, honest, and have the sincere intention to help service members and their families. If you feel the same way, we’re a perfect fit.

Positivity is Paramount

Finding the good in everything is in our DNA, and therefore, it’s in the DNA of our entire business. Life and business will go wrong at some point. In good times and bad, we choose to find something positive to focus on. That’s how we operate.

A Healthy Dose of Humor

We want you to know we operate everything with some sense of humor. The military and money are already serious businesses. We take your finances and business seriously, but a little lightheartedness
can go a long way to help improve the situation.

Not a Judge or Jury

We’re not here to pass judgment. Many times, potential clients fear hiring a financial coach because they worry their financial and life decisions will be judged. That’s not us. We wouldn’t want anyone passing judgment on us, so we won’t be passing judgment on anyone else. However, we will help you get to where you want to be with positivity, honesty, directness, a splash of humor, and, when necessary, a kick in the pants.
